Steven J Barnes, Ph.D.

Initially trained as a visual artist, Steven went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia and Postdoctoral training in Neurophysiology at the Life & Brain research institute at the University of Bonn. His interests have swung back to the visual arts: he is interested in the development of novel forms of visual and computational representations of neurobiological and psychological phenomena. Steven is currently at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at SFU.
